Sources said at the time that the majority of their relationship was long-distance and that they had mutually agreed on the split. I always said I could see us being old in rocking chairs together like, that’s who I would want to be there with,” she said. “It started to dwindle away a little bit,” she said. “He was mocking me, saying, ‘I told you not to break up with me. I was like, ‘Wait, what?'” she told her sister and a friend. Like, ‘I told you not to do this. I told you this was a mistake. “I had enough drinks to have the courage to go up to and say hi to Braxton,” she said. “I must’ve said something along the lines of, ‘This is really hard seeing you. “I don’t know what’s going on,” Earle said. When pushed on whether anything was confirmed, she simply replied, “No, I’m just having fun,” before adding: “I know, a lot has changed since last time. ” Brady, for his part, has not mentioned Earle by name, though he has said previously that he does not have much time for romance right now.
Alix Earle did not announce the end of her relationship with Braxton Berrios with a statement. She drove a moving van to his Miami home, packed her things, and let the cameras roll. Her new Netflix series, *Earle Meets World*, opens with exactly that scene, and what follows across eight episodes is the most honest account yet of why her three-year relationship with the NFL wide receiver ultimately fell apart. Marriage pressure, fading intimacy, and a post-breakup encounter that left her stunned are all part of the story she now feels ready to tell. That was accurate enough, but it left out a lot. On the show, Earle describes Berrios as her first real love, someone she once pictured growing old with. “Braxton and I were together for three years. He was the first actual, real love that I’ve ever experienced. Alongside the marriage concerns, Earle acknowledged that intimacy between them had been quietly eroding. Two people at different points in their lives, separated for stretches by NFL schedules and competing careers, and the closeness that once held things together was no longer enough. That, more than any single moment, appears to be what wore the relationship down. Even after they split, the story had more to give. In the third episode of *Earle Meets World*, Earle recounts a night out where she ran into Berrios and tried to be honest with him about how difficult things had been. Ha, ha, ha. “He was laughing in my face. ‘” She gave more context. And I was trying to just be honest with him and I feel like that was not reciprocated. The Netflix series addressed it directly, without really addressing it at all. During a rehearsal session with her *Dancing with the Stars* partner Val Chmerkovskiy, his wife Jenna Johnson pressed Earle on the Brady rumors. “I’m having fun. Whatever is or was happening between them, neither has chosen to define it publicly and Earle seems comfortable keeping it that way.
