MCD said this was the ninth time this year that the mayor’s office got a bomb threat. Besides the schools, the office of the district magistrate in southwest Delhi, Delhi Assembly, the Civic Centre and the mayor’s office got threats. Authorities alerted Delhi Police , following which security protocols were activated and searches were carried out. Bomb detection and K9 teams were deployed to conduct anti-sabotage checks.
