Itel Tough rugged feature phone: Price and availability
The phone is part of the company’s INNO Series and comes with 2-metre drop protection, IP54 dust and water resistance, a shock-proof silicone case and USB-C charging. The Itel Tough is priced at Rs 1,499 in India. Itel has launched the Tough (it4520) rugged feature phone in India.
It also features an Agri Button, King Voice, a Super Soundbox and a dual-lamp torch. The feature phone will be available only through offline stores. The phone is listed under model number it4520 and is positioned as a rugged feature phone for farmers, daily-wage workers, outdoor professionals and outdoor enthusiasts. The feature is intended to make agricultural information more accessible to users in farming and rural communities. The feature phone comes with King Voice, which broadcasts short messages, menus and phone calls in English and Hindi. It also has a Super Soundbox with high-volume output and enhanced sound quality for use in noisy outdoor environments.
The Tough joins the INNO Series, which previously included the Itel Aqua, which the company described as an IP67-rated feature phone.
