Lucknow: A primary school teacher is facing legal action following an incident in which she allegedly slapped a woman police sub-inspector and attempted to tear her uniform. This altercation occurred within the jurisdiction of the Mahanagar police station, as confirmed by police officials on Tuesday. An FIR has been filed against the teacher in connection with these allegations.
The incident took place on Sept 6 when the accused, Anjali , a resident of Sarvodaya Nagar in Unnao arrived at the station to register a complaint over a dispute, according to police. As per the FIR, Sanya Niranjan, the Vigyanpuri beat in charge, was on field duty when police station staff informed her that a woman wanted to meet her regarding a complaint. She subsequently returned to the station. However, the accused woman has denied the allegations and accused the sub-inspector of not properly addressing her grievance. She claimed that after arriving at the police station, the officer became occupied with other work instead of listening to her complaint.

An FIR has been filed alleging that Anjali, a teacher, became agitated during an interaction with a police officer. Reports indicate that the situation intensified when Anjali reportedly verbally abused the sub-inspector, slapped her, and attempted to damage her uniform. This incident raises concerns about professional conduct and conflict resolution in educational settings.
