Kochi : Saneesh Babu, a 30-year-old research scholar in the department of mathematics at Cusat, has secured a Guinness World Record in the category of “Most Multi-Coin Rolls in One Minute”. Speaking to TOI, Babu said his interest in the coin trick developed alongside his passion for magic. I continued practising it over the years, and it eventually led to this record,” he said. Babu said the recognition had been encouraging. “I am happy that the effort has been recognised, and the appreciation from the university community has made it special,” he said.
I started doing the coin roll as part of my magic performances, as it added something different to the act. Babu, son of Babu and Shiny of Madayankunnel, Kavummandam, Wayanad, is pursuing research in Graph Theory under Aparna Lakshmanan. Download the TOI App.
Following the assessment process, Guinness World Records issued the official certification on Tuesday.
