His father, Joy , allegedly attacked him with a wooden stick, causing fatal injuries, police said. Justin, who was reportedly addicted to drugs, frequently quarrelled with his parents, according to the police. The man later attempted suicide by consuming poison. The deceased was Justin of Kumbuakkal, Anakulam. The incident occurred around 1pm. During the altercation, Joy allegedly assaulted his son. Justin Following a quarrel on Tuesday, his parents stayed at a relative’s house. However, Joy returned home alone on Wednesday, after which a fresh argument broke out between him and Justin.
Joy, who consumed poison, was initially admitted to Adimali taluk hospital and was later shifted to Kottayam Medical College Hospital, where his condition remains critical.
