Authorities have recovered the bodies of two men who went missing after departing from their home in a car on Monday night. The discovery was made in the Pandu canal, located in the Sachendi area of Kanpur. The circumstances surrounding their disappearance and subsequent recovery are still under investigation.

The two left home together without informing their families, according to police. Sachendi SHO Dinanath Mishra said CCTV footage from nearby areas was being scanned to determine the circumstances under which the car fell into the canal. When they did not return till late at night and their phones remained switched off, family members started searching for them. Police received information about a car falling into the canal near Bachhaurpur village.
