Minor sexually exploited and blackmailed in Kanpur
The complainant, from a village under Akbarpur police station limits in Kanpur Dehat, said she had been employed at the hospital since July 10. In her complaint, she said the nephew picked her up by car on Aug 16, saying there was an emergency delivery. She claimed he recorded photos and video of the assault and threatened to kill her and her brother if she reported it.
Kanpur: Police arrested a hospital operator and his nephew late Tuesday after a nurse alleged she was repeatedly raped at a hotel and inside an operation theatre at a private hospital in Ghatampur. She alleged the operator made obscene advances and threatened to terminate her job when she objected. She alleged he instead took her to a restaurant on Jahanabad Road and then to a hotel, where he raped her after she refused to have physical relations.
Allegations of Gang-Rape Lead to Arrests in Hospital Incident
A nurse has alleged that she was gang-raped by an operator and his nephew in a hospital’s operation theatre. She also reported a separate incident where the operator raped her at a hotel on August 31. After informing her husband about the assaults on September 1, she claimed that the nephew threatened to kill him when he was contacted. Inspector Manoj Bhadauriya confirmed that a case of gang-rape has been registered, and both suspects have been arrested.
