She alleged she had been subjected to such behaviour since the beginning of her programme, creating “an increasingly distressing and intimidating classroom environment”. “In recent months, I have experienced severe anxiety, nausea, fear and panic-like symptoms before and during the class,” the complaint stated.
She claimed he accused her of “showing attitude” and disturbing the class, and eventually told her to either stop or leave. The student has sought measures to prevent further “public humiliation, linguistic targeting and intimidation”.
