New Delhi: Police have arrested a man in a case of burglary at a computer hardware shop in south Delhi’s Nehru Place and recovered stolen goods worth Rs 35-40 lakh, officials said.
Police said the owner reported that the shop located in Manjusha Building had been broken into on Aug 21 and computer hardware stolen. Police said they recovered the entire stolen consignment comprising 520 solid-state drives and 160 random access memory modules from his possession. The recovered items were seized as per legal procedure, police said. The accused, Krishan Bind, was arrested by a team from Kalkaji police station. A case was registered under provisions of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Bind was subsequently traced and arrested. The accused was produced before a court, while further investigation is under way. Investigators examined CCTV footage from the area and analysed call detail records, which led them to the suspect.
