The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) Health Department conducted inspections at various construction sites throughout the city on Thursday to combat vector-borne diseases. During these inspections, mosquito breeding sites were identified at multiple locations. As a result, the AMC sealed nine construction sites and issued notices to 80 others, collecting a total of Rs 2.8 lakh in penalties.
The sealed sites include Athithi Prime in Vatva, Zainab in Lambha, Shreeji Palace in Vastral, Satya Pride in Nikol, Aerozone and Copran Green in Gota, Kautilya 220 in Thaltej, Aristo Aayam in Bodakdev and Al Ahmad Pacific in Sarkhej.
