New Registration Requirements for Establishments
Newly established businesses must submit Form 1 online and secure a registration certificate within 60 days. In contrast, existing establishments that were registered under previous labor laws have a grace period of 180 days to complete the online submission of Form 1 and update their registration certificates.

The labour commissioner’s office has made the registration compulsory under the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020, and rules implemented by the Gujarat govt.
