Kanpur: Sadar Kotwali police on Thursday night seized a truck carrying 550 cases of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) from Haryana to Bihar in Kannauj district. Inspector Jitendra Pratap Singh said 550 cases of Royal Stag and Imperial Blue liquor were recovered and the vehicle was taken into custody.
A checkpoint was set up at Pal Chauraha following a tip-off, and the vehicle was subsequently intercepted and seized, according to police.
