The development came even as chief minister Devendra Fadnavis cautioned against attempts to politicise the agitation by MPSC aspirants and reiterated the state govt’s commitment to addressing their concerns. Nagpur: The controversy surrounding the alleged Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) paper leak and other examination irregularities escalated on Friday after activists of Sambhaji Brigade allegedly blackened the face of MPSC secretary Mahendra Harpalkar and demanded resignation of the commission’s top officials.

On a separate issue, Fadnavis also commented on the controversy surrounding Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange Patil.
