The teams found steroids, antibiotics and analgesics being administered at some centres, the council said. Hyderabad: During a day-long inspection of hospitals and clinics across Nirmal, five teams of the Telangana Medical Council (TGMC) found violations involving unregistered medical practitioners, the use of prescription drugs and misrepresentation of qualifications. The inspections covered facilities suspected of treating patients without valid medical registration. “We also came across instances where unqualified persons and optometrists were allegedly presenting themselves as ophthalmologists.
