Kolkata: A man from Rishra has been arrested on Friday in connection with an investigation into the alleged opening of a bank account at a Rajarhat branch in another person’s name using forged documents.

The case was initiated following a court complaint filed by Manojit Biswas (36), a resident of Shulka Durgapur in Gopalnagar, Bongaon.

“While submitting documents related to my income tax returns, I discovered that an income tax return had already been filed in my name for a firm called MB Tradecon India,” Biswas said.
