The celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi at Antilia is just as much a fashion spectacle this year as it usually is. Bollywood personalities appeared in everything, from beautifully draped sarees to intricately made traditional outfits. This is what turned the venue into something of a runway for the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Interestingly, the event turned into a blend of culture, glamour, and modern India, showing how the fashion circle dresses up for the occasion.

Karisma Kapoor walked the red carpet with her sister and brother-in-law in absolute style. Lolo made a case for the saree and served us the ultimate colour composition with a pink-orange plaid silk saree, which was complemented by an elbow-length sleeve, V-neckline blouse, with which she matched a chic metallic clutch and neat-girl hairstyle. Katrina Kaif’s festive outfit displayed how elegance does not need to shout for attention. She wore an olive-green hued anarkali, which possessed a relaxed flow, while exquisite detail lay in the dupatta. What stole the show was the embroidered piece overflowing with Rajasthani-inspired mirrorwork, colourful threads and beautiful tassels. She kept her look simple by styling her hair in a sleek open style and wore a pair of minimal metallic heels. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor did not look like a couple on the red carpet but rather two individuals taking part in a fashion discussion. it was her strapless asymmetric embroidered corset blouse that stole the drama While Alia was seen in a customised Masaba Gupta saree that was exquisite and dipped in icy blue lustre with luxurious details. Ranbir, on his part, wore a traditional deep blue kurta set paired with an embroidered Nehru jacket that came with natural floral-inspired cream threadwork. The whole look felt rich and not gaudy for a second. Janhvi Kapoor celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi at the Ambanis in full style. She made an appearance in a traditional double-Ikat Patan Patola saree by Nidhi Tambi Kejriwal, which had a combination of Ek-Taar Resham and Aabla Tiki work. What stood out was the intricate colour combination of deep pink and blue, which gave the ensemble a dreamy vibe with just the right traditional notes. Janhvi completed the look with jewels from Aren Jewellers, whereas her look was styled by Meagan Concessio and Shubhra Sharma. When it comes to festive fashion, it seems the celebrities are finally opting for bold shades this year instead of sticking to muted colours and metallic shades, and Shanaya Kapoor was also one of them. She draped a saree in the most traditional manner and wore a shade called aubergine with a golden-decorated blouse that gave her an old-fashioned look with the added joy of zari details.
