Alleged mastermind Makasud Khan, 35, was arrested and remanded in judicial custody in Tuticorin on Monday. Travelling in an SUV, they stole 173 sovereigns of gold in five incidents in Tuticorin, Oddanchatram, Batlagundu, Aravakurichi and Ulundurpet.
