These units comprise two riot control platoons, one company of Rapid Action Force (RAF), one of State Reserve Police Force (SRPF), Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) units, 13 crime branch striking forces, six quick response teams and two bomb detection and disposal squads. Citizens are requested to adhere to all police directives and immediately report any suspicious items, or activities to the police control room via Dial 112 or through the CP WhatsApp helpline at 9923323311.

The police have put in place a robust, multi-layered security deployment to maintain law and order, according to ACP (Crime) Sandeep Mitke. Under the guidance of CP Sandeep Karnik, the police have designed detailed security to ensure that citizens celebrate the festival in a safe, peaceful and incident-free environment. To respond immediately to any potential law-and-order situation, specialised and rapid-response units have been strategically deployed. Police officials have warned of strict action against anyone attempting to disrupt public peace, spread fear or disturb law and order. Individuals with prior criminal records or those subjected to preventive actions will be under close surveillance throughout the festive period. CP Sandeep Karnik has urged citizens, Ganapati mandals and devotees to enjoy the festival with devotion and enthusiasm without fear, emphasising that public safety remains the highest priority.
