He was assessing where the spider was going next; if it came anywhere near him, he would have jumped or moved back a little. But the spider went the other way. Josh had kept his hands on the podium. After noticing the spider, he immediately moved his hands to his legs. After answering the reporter’s question, he avoided looking at it for as long as he could, then quickly glanced back to see if it had come toward him. That glance was beyond cute! Allen’s reaction made it clear that spiders aren’t exactly at the top of his list of favorite fauna. The contrast makes the moment highly entertaining.
