PM Modi’s Birthday: Girl Athletes performances add colours to celebration
1,076 girl sportspersons gathered to perform in Parmanandpur While BJP cadres performed yajnas. At the blood bank of Indian Medical Association building at Lahurabir, around 50 volunteers of Gan Z wing of Antyodaya Parishad donated blood to help needy. At Parmanandpur Mini Stadium, a unique celebration of PM Modi’s 76th birthday was witnessed as 1,076 national and international girl athletes, along with students of Vikas Inter College, Parmanandpur, performed.
Former BJP Kashi region president Mahesh Chandra Srivastava said all youths who volunteered for blood donation were first time voter and first time donors. Event organiser A K Singh said Modi’s tenure strengthened sports promotion, creating new opportunities for athletes and inspired girls to pursue excellence in sports on bigger platforms globally. A blood donation event was conducted by Gen Z wing of Antyodaya 76th Parishad in the evening. A cake cutting ceremony was also organised prior to blood donation by the participants. Early in the morning, special yajna and puja were held at the Kamna Purn Hanuman Temple and Shantikeshwar Mahadev Temple complex in Kamachha to pray for Modi’s good health, long life and India’s progress. The rituals were conducted with Vedic chants by devotees and BJP workers. BJP Kashi region president Ashok Chaurasia, along with party cadres including regional general secretary Anoop Jaiswal, vice president Amit Rai and Kuldeep Gond, performed the yajna rituals. The stadium wore a festive look as girls posed with a large cutout of the Prime Minister and clicked selfie.
