Kanpur: Around half a dozen children were injured when their school bus overturned near Babnauti turn on the Bela-Kanpur road in Auraiya on Wednesday morning.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the bus suffered a brake failure while approaching the turn, causing it to veer off the road and overturn. Hearing the children’s screams, locals rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation. Police also reached the site after receiving information about the accident and shifted the injured children to a hospital.
