Bengaluru: Karnataka Public Service Commission ( KPSC ) member Shanta Hosamani, who went incommunicado after CID took over the KPSC cash-for-job scam probe, appeared before investigators Thursday after a local court rejected her anticipatory bail plea last week.

Sources said investigators found Hosamani had been in touch with several candidates who cleared the veterinary doctors’ exams. She was questioned about her alleged post-exam interactions with successful candidates and asked to appear again, as she sought time to answer some questions. CID has already arrested IAS officer Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar and his alleged associate Basavaraj Kannale in the case. Both are in judicial custody. Download the TOI App.
