The clip, originally from Beer’s 2023 conversation with Alex Cooper, is making the rounds again in September 2026, months after Beer and Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Herbert announced their engagement. Reporting on the original interview noted that some of the material dated back to when Beer was around 13 or 14, while she was 15 when she discovered that private material was circulating. She is now Justin Herbert’s fiancée, after the couple confirmed their engagement in July 2026. Herbert and Beer first sparked romance rumors in August 2025 before making their relationship public later that year. They subsequently appeared together publicly, including at the 2026 Grammy weekend, and Beer has also been seen supporting Herbert at Chargers games.
The resurfaced clip has therefore become less about what Beer was discussing back in 2023 and more about how Herbert’s football fandom is reacting to hearing her speak so openly about her younger self. And with Beer now preparing to marry one of the NFL’s most recognizable quarterbacks, Justin Herbert’s fans are suddenly getting introduced to a very old chapter of her story.
An old clip of the singer’s appearance on Call Her Daddy has resurfaced online, with social media users focusing on a particularly candid moment in which Beer described herself as a “young horny kid” while discussing a boy she had fallen for as a teenager. She said the private material was later saved and distributed without her consent, eventually leading to a deeply distressing experience for her. Madison Beer’s past has suddenly landed back in the spotlight, and this time, Justin Herbert fans are doing the digging. And some Herbert fans appear to have taken notice.
