Kobe Bryant’s net worth was over $600 million when he tragically passed away in 2020 in an unfortunate helicopter crash. Amid this, a property that they had sold at a record breaking price has resurfaced.
Since then, his wife Vanessa Bryant, has been working on his legacy and has maintained the massive fortune the two made together.
In 2015, the NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his wife, Vanessa Bryant, sold their 8,741 square foot house in the Pelican Ridge area for $6,116,500. This price broke records as the previous Newport Coast record set when an 8,000 square-foot home sold for $4.78 million in 2013. Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant had bought this luxury mansion in 2001 from sports agent Dwight Manley for $4.1 million. In 14 years, the NBA legend had made a profit of a whopping $2.1 million from the property as it broke records. Before the NBA legend Kobe Bryant sold his 8,741 square foot house, the house was renovated with walnut floors, limestone, stone pillars and detailed molding throughout the luxury mansion, according to the Los Angeles Times. The Newport Coast mansion also had an 850 square foot gym, a hair salon, a luxurious and spacious with a lobby entrance, stadium seating and a wet bar. Since Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant’s tragic death in 2020, his wife Vanessa Bryant has sold off a few more properties, including a 2,300 square foot single story Tuscan style home in the Summit at Turtle Ridge community and another mansion in Newport.
The luxurious mansion also had four bedrooms along with five and a half bathrooms and a walk in closet along with an outdoor pool and kitchen.
