As he gears up for the Week 2 clash, Patrick Mahomes has shared a heartwarming story. A few hours ago, the Kansas City Chiefs’ popular quarterback Patrick Mahomes made an appearance on 96.5 The Fan where he spoke to Carrington Harrison. For now, all eyes remain on the star quarterback as he trains himself for the Week 2 clash.

As Patrick Mahomes was asked if he had any ringtones as a child, the popular quarterback reflected on his childhood as he said, “I had a lot of them. I remember the phone…” The Kansas City Chiefs’ popular player continued, “I was too young to have a phone yet, for my mom to get me one, but I definitely wanted it as well. I can’t even remember which ones, but I mean that was like the thing back in the day…You had the Razr phone, and you’d get all the ringtones and stuff like that. And I forgot how much they were, but my mom got mad at me one time for buying too many ringtones. The three time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player added, “I remember that and being in trouble for that. So no, I can’t remember exactly what song I had, but I knew I had a lot of them. But I remember all the Razrs were kind of like my generation’s phone when I was old enough to get one, and I got a hand-me-down from my mom, and I kind of ran with that. Patrick Mahomes has often reflected on his childhood and has expressed gratitude to his mother, Randi Mahomes, for being there for him through all the difficult days. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid have kept themselves away from commenting on the accusations while the NFL has explicitly denied it.
