Kochi : A 21-year-old man and his 15-year-old relative were found dead near the tracks, reportedly after being hit by a train in Angamaly early on Saturday.
They were killed after being hit by a train around 1.15am on Saturday, police said. Police said prima facie, they haven’t ruled out the possibility of the deaths being suicides due to mental distress. However, the autopsy report is awaited to confirm the cause of death, police said. A detailed investigation will be held into the circumstances in which they went missing and how they reached Angamaly, police said. A missing complaint for the duo was lodged in Kollam on Thursday.
Police said the bodies will be handed over to the kin after an autopsy. Angamaly police registered a case of unnatural death and began an investigation.
