Belagavi: District in-charge minister Satish Jarkiholi chaired the Prajaseva Andolana campaign rally in Yaragatti Saturday, directing officials to provide on-the-spot solutions to grievances that can be resolved within the legal framework.
The programme was organised to directly hear public grievances and address issues faced by residents of the taluk, which has been identified for drought assessment due to deficient monsoon rains.
Speaking to the media after inaugurating the event at Srishaila Mallikarjuna Kalyana Mantapa in Yaragatti, Jarkiholi said ‘Jana Spandana’ programmes are being organised across the state following the chief minister’s directives. Officials from various departments participated to enable on-the-spot resolution of public issues and expedite relief measures for affected residents.

Noting that the first such programme had already been successfully conducted in Yaragatti, he affirmed his commitment to extending the initiative to all taluks in the district within the next three months to ensure speedy justice for the public. Strict instructions have been issued to officials to promptly resolve grievances related to land rights, house construction, electricity supply issues, and matters concerning schools and colleges.
