Nagpur: CM Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday defended the proposed UPI transaction charges, saying traders and petrol pump owners should not resist the “nominal” fees, as digital payments are central to boosting trade and curbing corruption in the country. Speaking on the sidelines of a business fireside chat in Nagpur, Fadnavis said, “Govt has clarified that charges will not apply on all transactions.
