Ashok Chowk Interchange: Key Connectivity Details
The Ashok Chowk interchange features three landings and ascending ramps that connect to Nandanvan, the bus stand, and GMCH. The main elevated corridor extends toward Reshimbagh Square. With traffic diverging in several directions, it is crucial for motorists to identify their intended exit well in advance of reaching the interchange.
“In the next eight to 10 days, we will install proper signages near the rotary and other exits so that people will get information about where they need to get out to reach their destination.
Rumblers at some locations are also pending and will be installed soon,” the official said. The issue assumes greater significance as the corridor is expected to carry a large volume of traffic between north and south Nagpur. With motorists still getting accustomed to the new alignment, clear advance signage is crucial to prevent sudden lane changes or deceleration near exits.
