Chennai: A probe into the suspicious death of an armed reserve sub-inspector at his Nungambakkam residence took a turn, with police arresting his wife for setting him on fire with petrol.
Raji , 58, was found dead with burn injuries at his residence in Lake Area on Saturday. Raji was booked under the Pocso Act in 2025 by Thousand Lights All-Women Police for sexually harassing a five-year-old girl. Police arrested Selvarani and launched a search for Deva, who is absconding.
