Through their foundation, 15 and Mahomies, both Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes have continued to serve different communities. Any restaurant can do this—and through 15 and FARE, Kansas City-area restaurants complete it at no cost. More than 10 Kansas City restaurants and bakeries are close behind. For the unversed, 15 and FARE is a joint initiative launched by 15 and the Mahomies Foundation and FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) to improve food allergy awareness, reduce care inequities in marginalized communities, and create safer dining and community spaces in Kansas City.

A few hours ago, Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes took to her social media to make a post about how a restaurant in Kansas City has brought in changes for people with allergies. This is related to their foundation’s recent project where they are collaborating with restaurants to train them to deal with allergies. The post added, “The Joe’s team completed FARE’s food allergy training to help prevent allergic reactions and to know how to respond if one happens. The organisations provide Food Allergy Academy training and anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction) response training for local restaurants, food banks, and pantries. Their children, Sterling and Bronze, have severe allergies which has helped the star player Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes learn more about the triggers and what they can do to prevent it. In many of their interviews, Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes have been emotional about how it was tough dealing with their children’s allergies since neither of them faced it in their childhoods. Since it came as a shock, Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, were not equipped well to deal with it and this helped them to launch a new initiative through their foundation to help more and more adults and children dealing with the same condition.
