The inaugural train on Beed-Pune route
After its inaugural run on Sept 17, Central Railway has announced a permanent timetable for the Beed-Pune-Beed daily express train. The overnight train, whose schedule was also announced on social media by deputy chief minister and guardian minister of Beed Sunetra Pawar, will have a travel time of around seven hours, with the timings being appreciated by many travellers. “The service fulfils a decades-old demand of Beed district and will benefit students, employees, traders, patients and pilgrims travelling to Pune for education, jobs and healthcare,” said Balasinh Pawar, a teacher. Unreserved tickets will be available through the UTS system, railway authorities said. 11433 Pune-Beed will depart Pune daily at 10.45pm from Sept 22 and reach Beed at 6am the next day. 11434 Beed-Pune will depart Beed daily at 9.30pm from Sept 23 and arrive in Pune at 5.20am the next morning. The 326-km journey will take around seven hours and 15 minutes. The train will comprise 15 modern LHB coaches, including one AC 2-tier, two AC 3-tier, six sleeper class, four general second class, one luggage-cum-guard van and one generator car.
