“I am a former college soccer player who went on to play professionally in Iceland,” Brittany writes on her website’s About page. “She wrote the workouts for me [during COVID-19 quarantine], so I mean she continued to push me to be better,” Patrick Mahomes told Men’s Health in 2021. Brittany Mahomes has built a life around fitness, long before becoming the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes . A former professional soccer player, certified personal trainer and mother of three, Brittany continues to make exercise a part of her busy routine. From challenging strength workouts to family-friendly meals, her approach to fitness reflects years of athletic experience and a lasting passion for staying active. Brittany’s fitness journey began on the soccer field. She played college soccer before moving to Iceland to compete professionally. However, her first season abroad sparked a deeper interest in strength training. “By the end of my first season, I truly began to fall in love with being in the gym more than being on the soccer field. That passion eventually led her to become a certified personal trainer and launch Brittany Lynne Fitness, where she offers training programmes for people at different stages of their fitness journeys. “It makes me feel like a lazy bum whenever I’m not working out and she’s working out. So she holds me accountable in that way. The couple has also discussed working together in the fitness industry after Patrick’s football career. Their shared interest makes fitness more than a personal goal. It is also something they enjoy building together. Brittany’s commitment to fitness continued through pregnancy and postpartum recovery, although her routines changed with each stage of motherhood.
