Bengaluru: The Cauvery water supply scheme stage I pumping stations will be shut for six hours Tuesday for emergency repair.
BWSSB said the shutdown could disrupt water supply in several parts of south Bengaluru and advised residents to store sufficient water in advance. The shutdown will be from 6am to noon to facilitate repairs. Areas likely to be hit are Kadirenahalli, Minaz Nagar, Gangadhar Nagar, Pragathipura, Padmanabhanagar, RK Layout, Chikkallasandra, Kumaraswamy Layout, Yelachenahalli, Isro Layout, Uttarahalli, Banashankari V Stage, AGS Layout, Subramanyapura, BHCS Layout, and Kanakapura Main Road.

Other affected areas include Johnson Market, Shanthinagar, Langford Town, MG Road, Richmond Town, Ashok Nagar, Neelasandra, Austin Town, Vivek Nagar, Ejipura, Domlur, Kodihalli, Cambridge Layout, Jogupalya, and Chamarajpet. Residents in Srinagar, BSK I Stage, Pipeline Road, Jayanagar 4th and 4th T Block, Tilak Nagar, Madhavan Park, Hombegowdanagar and Lakkasandra may also face disruption. Download the TOI App.
