Bengaluru: An armed gang of around six masked youths attacked pavement traders at Arahalli gate in Uttarahalli, in southwest Bengaluru, Sunday night.
The incident took place around 9.30pm when the attackers, who came on two motorbikes, first targeted Balasubramanyam alias Raju and Ravi , who sold fish dishes at the roadside stall. After injuring them, the gang moved to a nearby circle, around 800 metres away, and attacked cabby Kiran HM and delivery executive Kiran N, who were talking to some friends. Then, the attackers sped away, police said. In the attack, four men sustained injuries while one of them was shifted to hospital with cut injuries on his neck and ears. Kiran HM was shifted to hospital while the three others — Kiran N, Balasubramanyam and Ravi — were discharged after treatment.
