Gorakhpur : BJP MP Ravi Kishan on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress , claiming that neither party would be able to challenge the BJP in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
Referring to the SP’s PDA outreach, Ravi Kishan said Akhilesh’s attempts to attract Brahmin voters would not yield results. He claimed that the community had a long tradition of sacrifice and national service and would not be swayed by political messaging aimed at consolidating caste support.S
He asserted that the BJP was working towards securing an even bigger mandate in 2027 than it received in 2017.
peaking to reporters at his residence in Gorakhpur, he said opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav could make any effort they wanted, but their strategies would not succeed. Commenting on recent remarks by Rahul, Ravi Kishan said political success could not be achieved through personal attacks or what he described as “petty politics”. He also reacted to comments attributed to former Vice-President Hamid Ansari, saying people holding high constitutional offices should exercise restraint in their public statements.
