Darjeeling : The Kurseong administration has sealed the unregistered homestay in Sittong where a newlywed woman from Chopra in North Dinajpur suffered severe burn injuries after a barbecue fire flared up during her honeymoon on Sept 13. The property was cleared of guests, with at least 12 occupants shifted to a nearby homestay before it was sealed on Monday. The four accused — homestay owner Nehal Airan, her father Pawan Kumar Agarwal, manager Dipen Tamang (Lama) and staff member Nasiruddin, who allegedly poured thinner onto the fire — are scheduled to be produced before Kurseong court on Sept 23 after a four-day police remand.
