Kochi : In yet another incident involving private bus crews, Thrikkakara Police registered an FIR and began a probe following a clash at Kakkanad Municipal Bus Stand on Monday night.

The driver and owner of a bus named Amal were attacked by a group alleging that the bus came to the stand one minute later than the allotted time, according to the police. The police said the version of the accused will also be recorded before further action. The driver and owner of the bus were standing at the bus stand after the trip when the accused attacked them. As per the complaint, the accused, a four-member gang allegedly part of another bus crew, waylaid them and threatened to kill them. He was also shoved by the accused, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ladder installed behind a bus. The driver sustained a bruise under his left eye and a cut on his lips. The police registered an FIR on Tuesday based on Ali’s complaint.
