Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar : A late-night birthday celebration on a public road in Beed ended with five students being briefly detained and their motorcycle seized, after the gathering allegedly disrupted public peace and caused obstruction to traffic.
The action by Shivajinagar police on Tuesday night followed a call received by the emergency response number 112 team about a group celebrating a birthday on the road. The action was taken under Section 110 of the Maharashtra Police Act.
