Family sources said he suffered a cardiac arrest. UP CM Yogi Adityanath condoled his death in a post on X, describing it as “extremely heartbreaking” and offering prayers for the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family. Verma had been suffering from fever for the past two days and was initially admitted to a private hospital in Agra after his condition deteriorated. As there was no significant improvement, his family decided to take him to Yatharth Hospital in Noida, where he died during treatment. The news of his death triggered an outpouring of grief among his supporters and BJP workers in Agra and Fatehabad.
