Hyderabad: Central govt has extended the tenure of B Narasimha Sharma, additional solicitor general (ASG) for Telangana high court, by three years starting Oct 17, 2026. Following the announcement, advocate general A Sudarshan Reddy, deputy solicitor general N Bhujanga Rao, public prosecutor Palle Nageshwar Rao and members of the legal fraternity felicitated Sharma, who was first appointed to the post in Oct 2023.
Sharma’s term remains subject to any subsequent directives issued by Centre, according to orders issued by the department of Legal Affairs under Union ministry of law. Sharma represents central govt’s cases in the high court.
