He said the 2026 World Pharmacists Day theme, “Empowering pharmacists for healthier futures”, was appropriate in highlighting their role in public healthcare. Rajanarsimha highlighted that pharmacists play a crucial role alongside doctors and nurses in the health sector, particularly in ensuring the availability of safe and quality medicines and creating awareness among people about their proper use and dosage.
