Ahmedabad: The city on Friday recorded a maximum temperature of 34.3 degrees celsius, which was 0.1 degree above normal. At 26.2 degrees celsius, the minimum temperature was 1.6 degrees higher than normal. So far, the state has received 89% of seasonal rain. Only Kutch, among the five zones of the state, has recorded less than 60% of seasonal rainfall. Overall, 206 reservoirs have reached 71% of their capacity.
Saturday could be a cloudy day, according to India Meteorological Department ( IMD ). The line of withdrawal of southwest monsoon passes through Deesa and Naliya in Gujarat along with other parts of the country. On the other hand, a depression is moving north-northwestwards from Chhattisgarh.
On Friday, the state did not record any significant rainfall.
