Ahmedabad: The medical admission committee (MAC) has announced the schedule for the third round of admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in the state. The committee has also announced a separate schedule for students seeking to cancel their admissions confirmed in the earlier rounds.
A total of 738 vacant seats will be available for allotment in the third round. Candidates can buy PINs, and register and upload documents from Sept 26 to 30. Document verification will be held from Sept 30 to Oct 1 at designated help centres. Students who confirmed their admissions in the first or second round but wish to cancel them can do so from Sept 26 to Oct 1. In order to register for the third round, candidates can buy their PIN by paying Rs 11,000 through MAC website.
These include 452 MBBS seats and 286 BDS seats that fell vacant after the second round due to non-reporting and cancellation of admissions. Students who did not register earlier, as well as those who were allotted seats in the second round but did not confirm their admission, will be eligible to participate in the third round.
