Milkman Arrested for Alleged Obscene Gesture in Ahmedabad
In Ahmedabad, a 23-year-old milkman named Anil Nath was arrested by Vastrapur police on Friday for allegedly making an obscene gesture towards a 27-year-old woman outside her apartment early that morning. Nath has been charged with acts intended to insult a woman’s modesty.
According to the police report, the complainant stated that Nath, who supplies milk to her society, followed her to her apartment. When she confronted him about his presence, he reportedly asked for water. After she declined and demanded to know why he was there, Nath allegedly moved closer and attempted to pull down his trousers, making an obscene gesture.
The woman raised an alarm, causing Nath to flee the scene. Subsequently, she contacted a friend, who arrived at the location and notified the police control room. A police team quickly responded and took Nath into custody. Authorities are currently verifying the details of the incident.
