Kannur : The lottery department on Saturday announced the results of the Rs 30 crore Thiruvonam bumper, with ticket number TL360615 winning the prize. The announcement has brought excitement to Kannur, as the winning ticket was sold through a lottery agency in the district.
He confirmed that the first prize-winning ticket was sold through his agency. Though the lucky winner has not been traced yet, the jackpot marks a recurring streak of luck for Aneesh A V, owner of Muthu Lottery Agency in Chakkarakkal where the ticket was sold. The ticket was later bought by an agency named Thamburan Lottery at Taliparamba. Later, the ticket was purchased by Sujith , a lottery seller from Vadakkenchery, who eventually sold it to the lucky winner. P V Valsaraj, owner of the Thamburan Lottery in Taliparamba town stated that Sujith, a lottery seller, bought the ticket from him a week ago.
Aneesh, who has been in the field of lottery trade for 18 years, had earlier sold the first prize-winning ticket for the 2025-Christmas-New Year bumper worth Rs 20 crore.
