At a dedicated clean energy session titled “Energy Future: Grid Transformation for India’s 2030 Clean Energy Goals”, stakeholders identified an 8-10 GW pipeline of renewable energy projects in Uttar Pradesh. The discussions brought together policymakers, public sector undertakings (PSUs) and industry leaders to explore fresh investment opportunities and strengthen supply chains across the state. The session was chaired by Invest UP CEO Vijay Kiran Anand and attended by senior govt officials, along with representatives from Reliance Industries , NTPC Green, Avaada Group and Ampin Energy Transition. Key discussions centred on battery energy storage systems (BESS), green hydrogen projects, transmission infrastructure and clean energy manufacturing. In the automotive sector, companies including Uno Minda, CNH India and RACL Geartech reviewed expansion opportunities under the state’s industrial policy framework. Deliberations focused on developing dedicated EV clusters, plug-and-play industrial parks, skilled technical manpower and stronger auto-component supply chains. Meanwhile, a textile and apparel roundtable, led by officials from the handloom and industries departments, explored measures to strengthen the local textile ecosystem, enhance infrastructure support and boost export capacity. In a parallel dialogue with PSUs, state authorities discussed collaborative investment opportunities in energy transition projects and sustainable manufacturing corridors.
