HS Keerthana, an IAS officer of 2020 batch, assumed charge as MD of NWKRTC on Monday.
Hubballi : The North Western Karnataka Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has got second managing director in a time span of 20 days. HS Keerthana, a 2020-batch IAS officer, took charge as the MD of NWKRTC on Monday. In its order dated Sept 9, the govt had said that as then MD Priyanga M was sanctioned maternity leave from Sept 7 to May 3, additional charges was given to Vyshali.

However, Vyshali was later transferred as MD of MSIL in Bengaluru. Before entering the civil services, Keerthana had been a child artiste in Kannada TV serials like ‘Janani’, ‘Chiguru’, and ‘Putani Agent’. Download the TOI App.
Keerthana has earlier served as assistant commissioner of Mandya, CEO of Chikkamagaluru ZP.
