Truck bike caught on fire
At 12.30pm, the truck hit the motorcycle from the rear, throwing its rider onto the road and dragging the bike under its wheels. The rider, identified as Dixit (26), a resident of Chunchaghatta, escaped with minor injuries, police said. Fire was caused by sparks which ignited due to friction as the truck dragged the bike.
